Agra city of Taj is no doubt the first choice of any tourist travel in India. This city has its importance from historical time and was highlighted much more when this was the capital of the Mughal empire when in 1526 A.D. the Mughal Emperor Babar established it as his capital.

One world-renowned wonder, Taj Mahal was built by great Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj mahal symbolizes the eternal love story between Shah Jahan and Arjumand Banu Begum famous as Mumtaz Mahal who fell in love at first sight when they were at 15 and married at 20.         

This memorial built by the master craftsmen from Italy and Persia to help design emperor Shahjahan’s ambitious tribute to love.  Taj mahal is not only a great architectural beauty but a very good plan and design chocked out to make it a memorial of immortal love. Master architect of the Taj mahal was Ustad Ahmed Lahori, the renowned Islamic  architect of that time.        

Tajmahal open every day except Friday. Opening time from Sunrise to sunset. Best time to visit at sunset and sunrise.
